In an effort to keep dental costs down, while maintaining a high level of professional care, we have established a number of payment plans for our patients. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. If you wish to finance dental work, please contact our office for information or read more about Capital One Healthcare Finance and AIG American General.
We will gladly complete and submit all forms pertaining to your dental insurance claims. However, our customary procedure is the same for patients without insurance coverage. We request that you keep your account current.
For answers to specific questions regarding your insurance, please contact your carrier directly.
Please be aware that dental insurance does not pay all of your dental expenses, but rather to reduce your out-of-pocket expense.
Many plans tell you that you will be covered up to 80 to 100 percent. In spite of this, frequently plans cover only 15 to 50 percent of an average fee. The amount your plan pays is determined by how much your employer paid for the plan. The less your employer paid for the insurance, the less benefit you will receive.
It has been the experience of many dentists that some insurance companies tell their customers that “fees are above the usual and customary” rather than saying “our benefits are low.”
